Also known as: State Attorney's Office for the 15th Judicial District, State Attorney's Office
The State Attorney's Office for the 15th Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County conducted an investigation into the conduct of Jeffrey Epstein [3]. The investigation resulted in Epstein being charged by indictment with solicitation of prostitution, in violation of Florida Statutes Section 796.07 [3]. A Non-Prosecution Agreement was reached between Epstein and the State Attorney's Office [1] [3]. The Palm Beach Police Department provided intelligence to the State Attorney's Office concerning Maxwell, who was hiring young women from PBAC to come to her house and answer the phone, paying them $200.00 per day [2]. The State Attorney's Office was still waiting to receive a copy of a proposed plea agreement between Mr. Epstein and the Office as of June 27, 2008 [1]. The investigation and negotiations involved the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, who responded to concerns regarding Epstein's Non-Prosecution Agreement [4].
